Patient Education

This is a very critical part of successful rehabilitation. We believe our patients are better able to manage their injuries through understanding the mechanisms and treatment processes. In combination with our hands on treatment, we are able to significantly shorten the recovery time.

Manual Therapy

These are hands on treatment techniques used to:

  • Reduce pain

  • Improve mobility in muscle/fascial tissue and joints

  • Improve normal gliding of the body’s nervous system

Exercise Therapy

Specific exercises are designed to:

  • Restore optimal balance in how muscles control joint movement, and as a result restore optimum mechanics at the joint and reduce pain

  • We use video technology to teach and restore normal movement mechanics in the body

  • We also integrate evidence backed, clinical neuroscience based treatments to help chronic/ persistent pain clients

Intramuscular Stimulation (Dry Needling)

The use of very fine needles inserted into trigger points/ knots within muscles that feel tender on palpation to:

  • Alleviate muscular tightness and spasms which commonly occur before or after an injury

  • Improve muscular strength and flexibility

  • Reduce muscular pain

  • Address common conditions such as muscle tension/spasms, headaches, scar tissue removal, tendon related pain/bursitis and more
